Hasbi Bin Yaakob, a Senior Customer Service Executive at DAWN Singapore received the Logistics Trailblazer Award from Singapore Logistics Association (SLA). This accolade recognizes his exceptional accomplishments as the regional champion in the FIATA International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations and TT Club Young Logistics Professionals (YLP) Award for the Asia-Pacific Region in 2023.

Hasbi’s achievement propelled him into the global finals, where he competed against three other regional champions in Brussels, Belgium, vying for the title of Global YLP 2023 Winner. While the global title eluded him, SLA commends and appreciates the invaluable contributions. His performance underscores his profound expertise and finely honed skills.

Participating in FWC 2023 was an unforgettable experience that has left a lasting impression on me. Interacting with fellow regional champions and logistics experts from around the world exposed me to diverse perspectives and insights, particularly in the areas of sustainability and digitalization. As the winner of the YLP Asia Pacific Region, it was a true honor to represent the Singapore Logistics Association on the global stage. I encourage all young logistics professionals in Singapore to engage in future YLP competitions, as it provides an excellent platform to challenge oneself and make a mark in this thrilling industry.
