Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage existing key client relationships, ensuring satisfaction.
- Secure new client relationships.
- Lead and optimize freight operations for efficiency.
- Mentor and lead a team of customer service executives in the freight team.
- Contribute to strategic planning and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and accurate shipping documentation.
- Contacting and evaluating local vendors and suppliers for quotations related to logistics services.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics or related field.
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in freight forwarding or shipping line work is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to perform a sales pitch based on written or verbal instructions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (PRs) only.
